Under FL law, you can receive PT treatment from a licensed physical therapist without a physician referral or prescription. This is called "Direct Access" which makes it easier than ever to get the care you need. However, if you already have a script, you can bring it with you on the day of your appointment.

Wear something loose with access to your affected area, and something you can easily move around in. Restrictive clothing may affect the physical therapist's ability to do a thorough evaluation and treatment, and can also affect your ability to perform exercises with comfort and proper positioning.
Treatment is varied dependent upon package purchased and can range from 30 to 60 minutes. Ask your therapist for details about your treatment session upon booking your appointment.
• Clothing: A change of clothes if coming directly from work or school.
• X-Ray or MRI: If you have had imaging done, bring any results to your appointment.
• Paperwork: An Intake Form will be emailed to you once your Evaluation is scheduled.
• Payment: Payment is due at time of service - cash, check, Venmo and Zelle are accepted.
• Determination: Most of all bring a positive attitude! We know that pain can wear you down physically and emotionally, but physical therapy is your time so get the most of every minute.
